Mark Prime Papers (MS 6)

This collection contains correspondence between Mark Prime and various other military personnel, various different forms that relate to expenses of the army, bills, and receipts. Captain Mark Prime (born 27 August 1813) was an Assistant Quarter Master for the United States Army stationed in New Orleans, LA. He was honorably discharged from the Army in July 1863. This collection contains letters sent to and from Mark Prime concerning matters such as report rolls, personal belongings, discrepancies in his reports, and concerns about how he ran his office.
