Warm up after WinterFest with a free screening of the animated classic “Balto” (1995), sponsored by McArthur Library. Loosely based on a true story, this heartwarming tale follows Balto, a half-dog, half-wolf who goes on a harrowing adventure to bring medicine across Alaska and save the children sick with diptheria in the town of Nome. The film stars voices from Kevin Bacon, Bridget Fonda, Phil Collins, and Bob Hoskins, and is full of humor, adventure, and heart. Refreshments will be available for purchase in the City Theater lobby before the show.
