How to File for Divorce – this workshop explains the steps to file for divorce in detail including how to serve the other person, where to find the forms, briefly outlining the progression of court proceedings, and a few tips to prepare for court.
The presentation includes information on contested and uncontested divorce, and some basic information on property and custody division. There are resources provided that include how to connect to legal aid organizations that provide legal advice or representation to low income individuals.
